Finishing schools helping graduates into employment [India]

Training providers targeting soft skills like communication and customer service are becoming more and more popular in India, as recent graduates struggle to make the transition from education to employment. According to a study by Nasscom (India's national IT industry body), Indian universities produce 3 million graduates, including half-a-million engineers, every year. However, while the majority of these graduates leave with good technical skills, recruiters say many of them are ‘not employable’, and unable to meet workplace standards for social, analytical and communication skills.
