Employers complain of poor work skills

In a survey by recruitment company Adecco, 36% of employers agreed
that higher education is failing to equip young people with the
skills that British businesses need.
Graduate skills gaps that were most commonly indicated by employers
were in interpersonal skills (41%), IT skills (41%), and basic
literacy and numeracy (25%), and only 4% thought that younger
workers are more productive than older workers. Adecco surveyed
more than 500 companies for the employer response.
