We commission and conduct a variety of research projects. We use research (and ongoing consultation) to influence and improve the design, delivery and recognition of vocational education and training. Below is a full list of our research projects.
CSD is conducting a review of the evidence on how involvement in community projects which grow food in urban areas can help people to develop employability skills and ultimately find work.

This research project finds that both young people and their parents think that there is not enough information available about vocational education options, and how they link with career paths.
There is often a mismatch between vocational training and jobs for ex-combatants in post-conflict settings. This research explores why ex-combatants struggle to get jobs after training and how training can be better conneced to jobs in the future.
